We Care Events

We Care Events are hosted events where-in we come to you along with your local groups who work hand-in-hand with foster children and families in many ways including:

- Mentoring and sharing life skills
- Filling back packs for Meth rescues
- Being a voice for a child in court (Guardian ad litem/CASA)

We also speak on the How’s and Why’s people want to get involved with these groups.

The Mission of We Care Events is to open up the eyes of God’s children to see that they too can impact a young life for positive change even if they only have a small amount of time to give.

If you’re interested or want to learn more about bringing a We Care Event to your business, church, or community, simply call or complete our ‘Contact Form’ at the bottom of the page.

Testimonial

‘We were blessed to have Tawnya Gregory speak on behalf of the Foster Care opportunities that are available for families of the church to get involved with. Her presentation was excellent. Tawnya is a great speaker with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Her charisma is contagious about her relationship with God and the needs of foster care.’

Get The Book

Take a look into a world where foster children and natural children grow side by side, experiencing life and seeing some of those results. These real life experiences communicate the interactions that display true feelings, failures and achievements.

Inspiration for the book was her childhood. A Natural Child in a Foster Care Home, authored in a Penn name, Tanja Luayne, shares parts of Tawnya’s childhood of growing up with foster children coming in and out of her family’s home. The book highlights the challenges and results that took place both in their lives and hers.

Book Reviews

Tanja offers an honest look at the struggles and blessings that come along side foster families. I pray that others will read her book and step up to be hope and love for foster children.’

‘The ministry, as well as the book, is reaching right into the heart of the [foster care] field. I am grateful to not only have read the book, but to celebrate and collaborate with each family involved; with the help of this wonderful woman whose life experiences are able to touch the hearts of so many.’

I highly recommend this book if you want to grow your understanding of what it is like, present and future, for the journey families take together. The hope is that many more people, who are so needed will reach out and be inspired by this book and ministry.

Board Member - Brie Deer
She is a woman after the heart of God and the calling on her life. Trusting God to the point of packing up her life in the US and moving to Costa Rica as God made clear was His plan for her. She now ministers with preaching, music, puppets and games in churches, slums and in the streets of Costa Rica.  As a Registered Nurse in the Hospice and Trauma units in the states before she left Bri used that knowledge and training in her business which she also let go of when called to Costa Rica. In addition, she is a gifted Pianist, who now teaches music and English, preaches to and Mentors the Costa Rican people God brings across her path. God uses her in many ways to reach the lost, raise up leaders, mentor pastors and so much more.
